When Elise made her big move from Ohio to Boston in 2021, she had no idea that she would be meeting Richard within that same year. After a bit of friendly encouragement, she agreed to a double date—and soon after, to a one‑on‑one date with Richard. From that moment on, the two were inseparable, never missing a single day of laughter since.

In May 2022, they took their first getaway together to the island of Nantucket. The charm of cobblestone streets and sunset dinners quickly made the island a special place for them. Fast‑forward a few years (and several restaurant openings later), Richard popped the question!
